As anyone could expect tons of announcements around Strata + Hadoop World: Cloudera Enterprise 2.2, MapR including their NoSQL database engine in the Community Edition, Hortonworks adding support for Apache Spark and Apache Kafka, Microsoft supporting Apache Storm on HDInsight, Loggly Inc. raising $15mil. to compete with Splunk.
